Home Automation
Home Automation is now a reality
Thanks to Thinkboxx "Home and Building Automation" is no longer a dream it's now a reality. More than just being able to control your lights Thinkboxx has built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) which allows for Total Control of every electrical and/or mechanical device in and outside your home or buildings.
Totally Programmable, ThinkBoxx becomes the MASTER BRAIN behind the automated decision making, allowing you to come and go with total flexibility.
ThinkBoxx looks after Security, Access Control, Swimming Pools & Spas, Garden Lights and Garden Watering Systems, your Lighting Control both inside and outside, the Air Conditioning Control, your Home Theatre and Sound System and can even make the coffee of a morning then gently wake you up with beautiful music.
ThinkBoxx calls you on the phone when you are not there and interacts with you by dynamic voice prompts. You can even call home and turn on the Air Conditioning or Spa or the Cameras via your Cell-Phone.
Back to Base Security is available if that's the way you wish to do things as well. It's ALL up to you and "It's Just So Easy".
- Link your security sensors to your lighting and mean the end of having to switch on a light switch as you entered the room.
- Use a simple thermostat in conjunction with air conditioners, curtains and electric shutters to regulate your home's temperature.
- Utilize a light sensor in conjunction with pool pumps to only heat your pool water when the sun is out and be most effective in its heating cycle.
- Allow keyless access to be linked with security, home entertainment, lighting, roller doors, and gates to provide your music and lighting levels that you prefer when you enter your home, while shutting your roller door and closing your gates at the same time.
Automate your life today
It basically means your home is automatically looking out for you and your family and adjusting your living conditions to suit the way you want them.
An automated home can be very similar to your own human body in the way it operates. At the centre of the body is ThinkBoxx which is the brain of your home or office, it senses the environment and makes intelligent decisions about how to manage the systems you already own and use.
Just like the human body, a home automation system requires a nervous system, a sensory system and an output system to operate to its full potential.
The sensory system (your eyes, ears, and skin) is made up of sensors around your home such as motion or temperature sensors. These send signals to the brain which processes the messages and sends out signals to the muscles of the body telling them what to do. These muscles can be in the form of switches, relays, or communications protocols.
For example, our body knows when it requires moisture by sensors throughout the body in the mouth and organs. It automatically sends a signal to the brain telling it that water is required so the brain instructs the rest of the body to go and get a drink. We don't realise the process has just occurred, all we know is that I am thirsty and need a drink. A home automation system is very similar. We will use the moisture example once again. A sensor in the garden registers that the moisture level in the soil is too low, it sends a signal to ThinkBoxx which processes the information, decides that the best thing to do would be to increase the moisture level and to do that, the watering system needs to be turned on. It then sends a signal to the watering system controller valve and turns on the water.
Now, that is true Home Automation... an action has occurred in our home that has helped our lives without us lifting a finger or having to think about what we want to do.
